Unlike some other driver training schools my vehicle has duel controls for maximum safety. It is a Ford Fiesta Titanium x Turbo, dual controls, manual gearbox and comes with air conditioning for everyone’s comfort

Costs:

• Learner Driving Lessons £40.00 per hour.
• Advanced driver training for Full Licence Holders £50.00 per hour
• Refresher Motorway Courses for Full Licence Holders £50.00 per hour
• Refresher Driver Training for Full Licence Holders £45.00 per hour

As part of my driver training with the St John Ambulance I was fortunate to have two days one to one training with Angela Payne to bring me up to a standard where I could take the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test.  I needed to attain either a Silver or Gold pass with RoSPA before I could apply for a Response (Blue Light) course.  During my training I can say that Angela quickly discovered my weak points but her patience and determination to get me to drive in accordance with Roadcraft were delivered in a friendly yet firm way which made me feel that she really wanted me to succeed.  I took the RoSPA  test a couple of months later and was awarded a Gold Pass, some months later I got a week long response course and I passed that as well.  I am now training to be a voluntary advanced driver tutor for RoSPA and all these driving steps started for me with the advanced training I received from Angela.  I believe my enthusiasm and confidence for advanced driving began during my two days driver training with Angela and so I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Having taken my driving test many decades ago – I thought I should try the ‘Advanced Driving Test’.  I was allocated Angie as my ‘Advanced Instructor’Used to taking the St John Ambulance drivers through their paces, I thought Angie might be quite scary!
I could not have been more wrong. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, accomplished, and charming – but certainly in charge. I learnt so much in a couple of sessions with Angie, my driving, awareness, and technique improved beyond measure. I would not hesitate to recommend her to either an absolute beginner [ why not have an advanced technique from the start?] – or anyone who has possibly lapsed into ‘habits’ over the years.

She arranged a lesson plan of practical driving and demonstrations which helped me prepare for (and later pass) my test. After having 3 instructors knock my confidence and leaving me with no hope after failing my third practical test, I came to Angela for guidance on where I was going wrong. And I’m very grateful I found Angela as I passed yesterday! after almost losing hope in obtaining my driving licence.
I struggled with trauma from my last instructor and therefore had nerves when I was on the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Angela’s tuition to learner drivers, or to people looking for pass plus or refresher lessons. She went above and beyond my expectations, confidently guiding me with a structured approach, but always flexible towards any requests I might have.

At the period approaching my test I had to stop my lessons to assist my mum after a significant operation, which meant there was a big gap in between my lessons; Angela pulled out all the stops, and helped me pass my test first time round! Angela’s focus, communication, explanation, and patience puts her head and shoulders above most instructors in my opinion. I was nervous about learning to drive, but she instilled confidence and technique that I will carry on long after my lessons have finished. 1 week after finishing my lessons and I’ve confidently driven from Kent to Wales on business.
