The 6160 Confined Spaces Scheme has made a clear demarcation between ‘Entrants’, and ‘Supervisors’.
‘Entrants’, workers going inside the chambers and doing the work and rescues.
6160-01 Level 2 Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces
6160-02 Level 2 Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces
6160-03 Level 2 Working in High Risk Confined Spaces
6160-08 Level 3 Working as a Member of a Rescue and Recovery Team in Confined Spaces
6160-09 Level 2 Medium risk entrant and entry controller
‘Supervisors’, those controlling people going inside the chambers, doing the work and performing the rescues. Some are standalone courses but Typically they will be for experienced workers who also hold other Health & Safety qualifications and experience.
