GET2372: Confined spaces in construction introduction
Overview
The purpose of this standard is to acquaint candidates with the principles of working safely in confined spaces and awareness of the legislation applying to confined spaces working.
The training will be useful for those that work near confined spaces, but do not have a requirement to enter.
The scope
This covers examples and what a confined space is, PPE / RPE and paperwork requirements. It then looks at fall arrest systems, gases and gas monitoring and the importance of personal hygiene
Delivery will be 100% classroom based with all materials and equipment provided
The maximum class size will be 12 delegates allowing training to be delivered in a safe manner and enable candidates to achieve the learning outcomes.

Cost Starts at £110 plus VAT (£132), plus my travel cost. Reduced rates for 5-10 delegates

Language Good command of the English language both reading and writing
Assessment Written question paper, pass/fail
Age 18 years

Duration Half day
Validity 3 year renewal
Payment The above prices assume cleared payment is made within 14 days of training, otherwise different rates apply. These start with payment 15-30 days after training, incurring an extra 20% of the overall cost.
