City & Guilds, CITB & Qualsafe accredited centre. As the owner of the company I am a time served Confined Spaces entrant and Authorised Person (AP), with over 20 years’ experience and qualified to MOD JSP375. I also hold Level 4, 6160-06, Plan, manage and review legislative and safety compliance for work in confined spaces. I am a City & Guilds Confined Spaces Trainer Assessor & IQA. For the construction industry we are also a CITB ATO (Approved Training Organisation) and part of the TPN (Training Provider Network) which means we may be able to offer subsidised training if you pay a CITB levy. I used to be a NPORS Confined Spaces Trainer & Assessor but found their trainer never met my requirements or that of my clients, so I no longer offer their training. We also offer bespoke Confined Spaces training to meet any specific requirements of your organisations.

I have achieved British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) First Class Diver and Advanced Instructor qualifications and used to work on the BSAC Instructor Development Courses (IDC) and Skill Development Courses (SDC). I have also worked with several of the Technical Diving Agencies over the years for whom I used to be an Instructor Trainer running my own Diver Training centre.

As for First Aid, I first started as a junior member of the British Red Cross Society in 1977 and between 1979 – 2002 in the Royal Signals I have had a continuous education in First Aid and officially gained a recognised First Aid Teaching award in 2015.

Since 1 April 2008 I have been teaching confined spaces full time and part of my job involved sitting on the MOD working Groups for both Confined Spaces and Work at Height. Having been made redundant in October 2011 I started my own company and I have worked for several other training companies until 2022. In 2012 I became a Qualsafe Centre 0904652 offering accredited First Aid & other Health & Safety related training. Then In 2014 I became a City & Guilds Training centre 008214 and offer the full suite of 6160 Confined Spaces Course. More recently I have also become a CITB ATO and assisted them with the development of their current suite of confined space courses.

This means if you pay a CITB levy you may get funding for CITB specific confined spaces training and any of the other accredited training courses we offer such as First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
